Whatever you encase it in is your craft; this sheet guarantees the layer every method must contain: a code that was machine-decoded before it touched paper, with its quiet zone protected from the trim knife. The maker workflow
- Enter the customer's details and pick the insert shape and size you actually pour. The fit meter gives the verdict per size — if their loaded contact card needs 32 mm and you sell 25 mm discs, you find out now, not after the pour.
- Wait for the verified badge. The code is decoded back at three image sizes in your browser; downloads stay locked until it matches byte-for-byte.
- Print the sheet at 100% scale. Toner or pigment on good stock — see the epoxy guide for why dye inkjet needs sealing first.
- Scan a printed copy before you encase anything. From 30 cm, in bad light, with an old phone if you have one. Paper is cheap; a failed pour is not.
- Cut on the guide, encase your way. The quiet zone lives inside the code square, so the guide line is yours to cut on without fear.

Can I sell tags made with these codes?
Yes — that is what this tool is for. Commercial use is welcome, no attribution required, no cut taken, no account needed. You make the tags; the codes your customers depend on are verified before they ever reach your printer.
Why is the cut guide bigger than the code?
The code square — quiet zone included — sits inscribed inside the guide: on a circle it takes the inscribed square (diameter ÷ √2), on a square insert 94% of the width. That means the white quiet zone the scanner needs lives fully inside your cut line, so a slightly wobbly cut costs you nothing. Never trim inside the code square itself.
What sizes should I pour?
Depends on the payload your customer picks. Dial-only codes fit 20–25 mm circles comfortably. Contact cards with a name and one number generally want 32 mm on circles — or go square at 25 mm and skip the √2 penalty. The fit meter above shows the verdict per size before you commit resin to it.
Why must I print at 100% scale?
The sheet's units are real millimetres: a 25 mm guide prints at exactly 25 mm only if the print dialog does no scaling. "Fit to page" silently shrinks every module below the size the fit meter approved. The sheet's own footer carries the reminder because the person at the printer is not always the person who generated it.
One customer order = one sheet?
One payload per sheet — every copy on a sheet is the same verified code. For an order of one tag, print a small sheet anyway: spares cost nothing, and pours fail sometimes. For different customers, generate and verify each one separately; the verification is per-payload, and that is the point.
