Questions, corrections, and suggestions are all welcome — from owners and from makers. A code that failed to scan in the real world is the report we most want.

Reporting a code that will not scan
Nothing you type is uploaded, so we cannot look up your tag — everything we need has to be in the message. To reproduce a scanning problem quickly, please include:
- Which mode you used — contact card or dial-only
- Roughly how long the contents were (name length, one phone or two, note or none)
- The insert shape and size you selected, and what the fit meter said
- How the code was produced: screen, paper print, or encased (and in what)
- The physical size of the printed code, if you can measure it
- The phone and app that failed to scan it — and whether another phone succeeded
Two checks solve most reports before we can: confirm the print dialog was at 100% scale (a "fit to page" print silently shrinks every module), and scan the flat print before blaming an encasement — a heavy resin dome over the code face distorts the modules near its edge. The methodology page documents how verification and the size floor work.
What we cannot help with
TagThatPet.com is a code generator, not a pet-recovery service: we cannot locate a pet, host a profile page, or update a code that is already printed — the contact info lives inside the code itself, which is exactly why it cannot expire. If your number changes, generate a new code. We also cannot recover anything you made earlier: nothing is stored, so the only copy is the file you downloaded.
